Draw Climber
More games to play
Draw Climber is a free browser game where you sketch legs onto a square block and watch it race across a bumpy obstacle course. The catch is that you draw the legs yourself, mid-race, and the block moves exactly as your drawing says it should. It plays in the browser with no download needed, so it runs fine at school or work wherever browser games are allowed.
What is Draw Climber?
Draw Climber is a casual arcade racer built around one offbeat idea: you control a block by drawing its legs on a small pad at the bottom of the screen. The block moves according to whatever shape you draw. Round wheels roll fast on flat ground. Long spindly legs cross gaps. Claws and hooks help it scale vertical walls. You race an opponent across courses full of holes, steps, valleys, and ledges, and you can redraw your legs at any moment to handle whatever obstacle comes next. At the end of each race a speed burst launches your block into the air, and distance matters for your final score.
Drawing legs and controls
Controls are simple. All the action happens on the drawing pad in the lower center of the screen.
| Action | How to do it |
|---|---|
| Draw legs | Click and drag (mouse) or touch and drag (mobile) |
| Erase and redraw | Release, then draw a new shape over the old one |
| Race movement | Automatic once legs are drawn |
Leg shapes and what they do
Choosing the right leg shape for the terrain ahead is the whole game. The table below covers the most useful shapes.
| Leg shape | Best for | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Round circle or wheel | Flat ground, speed runs | Struggles on steep slopes |
| Long straight legs | Stepping over gaps and low walls | Slow on flat terrain |
| Curved claws or hooks | Climbing vertical walls and peaks | Awkward on flat sections |
| Wide fan shape | Stability on uneven ground | Not the fastest option |
Tips for winning more races
- Watch the track ahead, not just your current position. Redraw before you hit the obstacle, not after.
- For the launch at the end, switch to wheels just before the ramp so you hit it at top speed.
- Legs that are too long for a tight space get trimmed automatically, so overshooting on length is usually fine.
- Against a tough opponent, focus on the tricky middle sections. Small gaps in performance there tend to decide the race.
- Drawing quickly matters as much as drawing the right shape. Practice the claw shape so you can sketch it fast when a wall appears.
Is Draw Climber free and available on mobile?
Yes, it is completely free to play in the browser with no account or download required. It also has a mobile app version for iOS and Android if you prefer playing on a phone or tablet. The browser version works just as well on desktop and runs without any plugins.
