Draw Bridge Puzzle
More games to play
Draw Bridge Puzzle is a physics drawing game where you sketch a structure over a gap and watch whether it holds. The vehicle rolls, the bridge bends, and the outcome depends entirely on how well you judged the shape and support. It runs free in any browser, no download required, and works on desktop and mobile, so you can play at school, at home, or anywhere you have a few minutes.
What is Draw Bridge Puzzle?
Draw Bridge Puzzle is a single-player puzzle game built around one idea: draw a bridge good enough to carry a vehicle across a gap. Each level gives you a blank canvas above the chasm and a vehicle waiting to cross. You sketch lines with your mouse (or finger on mobile), submit your design, and the physics engine takes over. If the structure buckles, you try a different shape. The levels get harder as the gaps grow wider and the vehicles get heavier.
How to draw and submit
All drawing is done with a single input. The table below covers the full control set.
| Action | Desktop | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Draw a line | Click and drag | Touch and drag |
| Erase a line | Right-click or erase tool | Tap erase, then tap line |
| Submit bridge | Press the play or go button | Tap the play button |
| Restart level | Click retry | Tap retry |
Why bridges fail (and how to fix them)
Most failed attempts share a few common causes. Knowing what breaks a bridge is more useful than memorizing any single winning shape.
| Problem | What happens | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Too flat | Middle sags under weight | Add a triangular support underneath |
| Too steep | Vehicle stalls or slips off | Reduce the angle of approach |
| No anchor points | Whole structure slides | Connect both ends to the fixed platforms |
| Too many short lines | Joints multiply weak spots | Use fewer, longer strokes |
Level progression
Early levels feature short, shallow gaps where almost any arch will work. As you advance, gaps widen and the vehicle changes, which shifts the load. Some levels introduce uneven ground on one or both sides, so your bridge needs a ramp built into the design, not just a flat span. There is no timer, so you can think before drawing.
Tips for getting across on fewer tries
- Triangles are the most stable shape in basic physics: a triangle under the midpoint of your bridge resists sag better than a curve alone.
- Connect to both fixed edges before adding detail in the middle, or the whole thing floats free.
- If the vehicle barely makes it halfway before the bridge gives way, the weak point is usually the center, not the ends.
- Erasing and redrawing one section is faster than scrapping the whole bridge, so start from the best part of your last attempt.
- On mobile, shorter strokes give you more control over angles than one long swipe.
